1、一般来说普通板式橡胶支座适用于跨度小于30m、适合位移量较小的桥梁.不同的平面形状适用于不同的桥跨结构,正交桥梁用矩形支座;曲线桥、斜交桥及圆柱墩桥用圆形支座.

盆式橡胶支座的结构原理是安置于密封钢盆中的橡胶块，在三向受力的情况下，而产生的反力，承受桥梁的垂直荷载，同时，利用橡胶的弹性，满足梁端的转动，通过焊接在上座板上的不锈钢板与聚四氟乙烯的自由滑移，完成桥梁上部构造的水平位移。本系列产品具有结构合理，承载能力大，变形小，水平位移量大，转动灵活，并有良好的缓冲性能，是建筑连续式桥梁的*佳支座。

五、盆式橡胶支座特点

盆式橡胶支座且具有重量轻，结构紧凑，构造简单，建筑高度低，加工制造方便，节省钢材，降低造价等优点，是适宜于大垮桥梁使用的较理想的支座。常用的有GPZ、GPZ（Ⅱ）、GPZ(KZ)三大类。 GPZ(II)系列支座目前承载力为31个级别，承载力0.8MN-60MN，能满足大型桥梁建造的需要。   GPZ(II)标准系列中，固定支座在各方向和单向活动支座非滑移方向的水平承载力均不小于支座坚向承载力的10%。抗震型支座水平承载力不小于支座坚向承载力的20%。 支座转动角度不小于0.02rad.   加5201硅脂润滑后，常温型活动支座设计摩阻系数*小取0.03.;加5201硅脂润滑后，耐寒型活动支座设计摩阻系数*小取0.06。

（1）性能：本产品由多层橡胶片与薄钢板镶嵌、粘合在一定压力、一定温度和一定时间内硫化压制而成。有足够的竖向刚度以承压垂直荷载，能将梁板上部构造的反力可靠地传递给墩台，有良好的弹性，以适应梁端的转动；又有较大的剪切变形以满足上部梁体构造的水平位移。
