TPU已被广泛应用于：鞋材、成衣、充气玩具、水上及水下之运动器材、医疗器材、健身器材、汽车椅座材料、雨伞、皮箱、皮包等。

TPU薄膜在运动鞋上应用极广泛：鞋底及鞋面上的商标装饰、气囊、气垫、油包等。而今，TPU薄膜在运动鞋上应用又有两种趋势：

一是由耐克运动鞋所刮起的流行风，即是将TPU薄膜先网版印刷上色，再以高周波成形并粘合在鞋面上做装饰，以取得特殊的装饰效果。

二是利用防水透湿的TPU薄膜与鞋材用布贴合使用，以达到防水透湿之效果。

科思创(拜耳)TPU DP 9852DU 性能特点：

硬度范围广：通过改变TPU各反应组分的配比，可以得到不同硬度的产品，而且随着硬度的增加，其产品仍保持良好的弹性和耐磨性。

机械强度高：TPU制品的承载能力、抗冲击性及减震性能突出。

耐寒性突出：TPU的玻璃态转变温度比较低，在零下35度仍保持良好的弹性、柔顺性和其他物理性能。
