盆式橡胶支座且具有重量轻，结构紧凑，构造简单，建筑高度低，加工制造方便，节省钢材，降低造价等优点，是适宜于大垮桥梁使用的较理想的支座。常用的有GPZ、GPZ（Ⅱ）、GPZ(KZ)三大类。 GPZ(II)系列支座目前承载力为31个级别，承载力0.8MN-60MN，能满足大型桥梁建造的需要。   GPZ(II)标准系列中，固定支座在各方向和单向活动支座非滑移方向的水平承载力均不小于支座坚向承载力的10%。抗震型支座水平承载力不小于支座坚向承载力的20%。 支座转动角度不小于0.02rad.   加5201硅脂润滑后，常温型活动支座设计摩阻系数*小取0.03.;加5201硅脂润滑后，耐寒型活动支座设计摩阻系数*小取0.06。
